Do you subcontract work?
We do not contract work out. Our team are fully trained movers and full-time employees.
Is Power Moves licensed and insured?

Do you offer storage?

Yes, we do offer overnight, short term, and long term storage.

Do you offer packing services?

Yes, we do offer professional packing services. Please ask your sales representative to schedule a free in-home estimate for your packing needs.

What payment methods do you accept?

We accept all major credit and debit cards.

When do I pay?
Final payment is due at the end of the move once the movers have finished unloading or assembling the last item.
How much time in advance should I schedule my move?
If you have specific date and time restrictions, it is recommended to schedule your move at least one month in advance.
When will the movers arrive?
We provide specific time windows for the mover’s arrival. The movers will call you in advance with a more exact arrival time.
What is the latest time the movers work?
As long as there are no building restrictions the movers will work until the job is complete.
How many guys will there be?
This may vary based on the size of the move. We have crew sizes from 2 men to 8 men.
Will the movers unmount my television?
Yes, the mover’s could help unmount your television.
Do you provide boxes?
Boxes can be requested. If you are interested in buying boxes please speak to your sales representative about it. There are varying sizes of boxes: small, medium, large, china, and wardrobe boxes.
Should I empty out my dresser drawers?
It is recommended that you pack all loose items into boxes to prevent damage while moving and leave the drawers empty.
Can I ship my valuable items (jewelry, important documents, etc.) with my move?
It is strongly recommended to transport items of extraordinary value with you, or make alternate arrangements for the transport.
Do you wrap and protect the furniture?
Professional blanket padding and shrink wrapping of your furniture is all included in our pricing.
Will you provide an in home estimate?

We offer free in-home estimates. In-home estimates help us give you a more accurate quote for your move. If you answer yes to any of the following questions, you may need an in-home estimate:

  • Is your home 1,500 square feet or larger?
  • Does your home have any narrow hallways, stairways, or doorways that furniture cannot fit through?
  • Do you have any large or bulky items (safes, pianos, etc.) that may be difficult to move safely and securely?
What is an estimate?
Estimates are provided to give an approximate cost for the total of the move. Varying undisclosed factors may influence the accuracy of estimates provided.
Why do you ask for an inventory?
Getting an accurate idea of what the move consists of helps us determine what size truck we need, how many men to send, and a better idea to about how long the move will take.
What factors affect a moving quote?
The actual move may go quicker or take longer than the estimated time based on the customers preparedness, factors not disclose, insufficient inventory list, greater walking distance, heavy traffic, bad weather, and/or any other unforeseen factors.
What if my move takes less time than the estimate?
Any unused time is not charge, it would all be prorated down to the minute.
What if my move takes longer than the estimated time?
Any additional time used would be prorated to the minute at the specified hourly rate.
What are your COVID 19 procedures?
We are taking precautionary steps to keep our movers and customers safe during this time. Our movers are wearing masks throughout the duration of the move. Our trucks are stocked with anti-bacterial soap, water, hand sanitizer, and disinfectant sprays/wipes that are used before, during and after each move. We are doing our part to keep our community safe!
